OFFICINE OROBICHE S.r.l.
For more than 60 years Officine Orobiche has been operating in the field of instrumentation and, in particular, in the flow rating and level control sector. Year after year it has devoted effort and resources to increase production technology to meet customer demand. In addition to the so-called ‘standard’ instruments Officine Orobiche S.r.l.s highly qualified technical and design staff are able to produce custom-made instruments to suit specific plant requirements.
The company was founded by Mario Salvi in 1950.
In the second half of 2018 the company was acquired by Giangiacomo Ciboldi, current CEO of the Ponteranica company, with 25 years of experience behind it in a company specialized in the electromechanical sector.
In May 2022, in order to improve its efficency and competitiveness, the Company moved its officies and workshop from the historical headquarters in Ponteranica to a bigger and more modern location in Zanica.
Significant changes have affected the company since the first transition to the new management; many are currently in place, such as a Lean Manufacturing program, and still others are foreseen for the future, which will see Officine Orobiche involved in technical innovations and important strategic developments, always focused on customer satisfaction.
Officine Orobiche is fully committed to implementing in all its activities, products and processes international standards concerning quality, health, safety environmental and social responsibility, such as UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI EN ISO 45001.
